Sorry, but Thurborne can't be there on Thursday. I gotta work till 10 PST. I have Wed. and Sat. off though. BTW, I like the idea of ppl being spectators. It'll help them to see how the other combatants fight and maybe give them ideas on how to counter moves. You can bet I'll be a spectator, I need all the help I can get.

Well it was somewhat successful.
With four participants not showing up it was hard to really get in the scheduled matches. We got three in but could have got four but at that point we/I realized the imbalance of being a 50 and not being a 50.
The fourth match would have been a slaughter with Dewwz and Gut vs. Thurb and SS. The imbalance is the non 50s lower than 44 (but all the non-50s were lower than 38) was the Scrappers lack of their “God Mode” 38th Power, the Blasters lack of their 38th Big melee attack, the blasters lack of their level 44 Shield, not having a second travel power, not having key powers fully slotted, and the <50s not having a PvP build.
I had a good time but continuing the tournament may not be a good idea due to the imbalances. I (Gut & Scrum) can’t compete at a level 40 or less level due to the selection of some key powers after level 40 which would make me very gimpy.
Also with only 7 out of 11 participants showing makes it difficult to run an organized tournament.
What do you guys think?

I really had fun. The element of fair PvP (not heroes v. villain pvp) is nice. Everyone is balance and none of our matches were too terribly one sided.
If we want to discontinue the tourny then I'm okay with that. Although, I didn't have much trouble taking down level 50's at all. The only difficulty would be Pyron (I do moderately decent against Dweezil). I'm okay with having a challenge, it just pushes me towards 50 harder.
Whatever happens, just let me know.

I thought it was alot of fun also. There were a few ppl that were hard/Very hard to hit but it lets me see what it'll be like to do a base raid, and help me to build myself up in newer areas. So, I'd love to keep it goin' and will try hard to be there for any others.

The imbalance is hard to deal with, but I think everyone realizes that they're not going to do as well, and when they do, it's even tha much more of a thrill.
Plus, this is all for fun, and if you win or lose, no big deal, at least you got to have some good PVP practice and get/do some ass kickin'.

It' looks like everybody so far wants to continue, so rather than continuing today (Thursday, July 13) Lets shoot for next Tuesday at 9:00pm EST.
We can do the remaining matches for whoever shows and then play kickball after that.
