We've been putting this idea through the works for a while, and since there is double XP/prestige/influence weekend coming up, we decided to push it up and make it really fun. So, without further delay...
RULES[/u]
--You must sign up with ME by some means, whether it be on the boards, or tells in-game, or calling my house, or stopping by with cookies, or a post card or whatever to be a particpant in The Prestige Challenge. Notifying any leader BESIDES ME will not count.
--The Challenge begins on Friday, July 21st at 5 PM EST. The Challenge ends on Saturday, July 29th at 11:59 PM. All prestige earned before and after has no effect on the The Challenge.
--I will keep track of all numbers, from beginning to end. Your start amount will be posted on the boards on the 21st, and your end amount will be posted on the 29th. Only prestige earned within the time of The Challenge will be counted.
--All SG members are allowed to participate, except for leaders. This includes alts. To emphasize, this means leaders and any toon they play are not eligible to win. Any and all alts of non-leaders may particpate, but they must be entered on their own, i.e. you must send me a tell saying you have 3 toons (a,b & c) who will be participating in The Challenge. However, remember, the more toons you play, the more spread your playing time will be.
--Only one toons prestige will be counted. The SG member who earns the most prestige at the end of The Challenge will be the winner.
--Prestige can be earned however you can earn it. Turn your inf into prestige (although remember, it's a terrible return rate), farm missions, do TF's until you're sore, get on AV teams, hack the system, whatever. Any prestige earned during The Challenge will count.
--Earn as much as you can. You may be ahead by a country mile with a day to go, but that won't matter if you don't have the most at the end. Only the amount at the end matters, it is not who has the most halfway or in the first hour, it is whoever has the most at the end.
PRIZES[/u]
The SG member who earns the most prestige at the end
of The Challenge has two (2) options for prizes.
Prize Option A---
3 Hami-O's. If you don't know what a Hami-O is, you're missing out. They're enhancements that do 2 (or more) things for the price of just 1 enhancer. However, they can only be used by heroes that are at least level 45. If you do not have a toon in this level range, then we have...
Prize Option B---
A full round of Single Origin Enhancements. These can be any level, and might be more helpful to a member who is not close enough to 45 for a Hami-O to be worth it. Any and all SO's that are needed will be bought for you (or their monetary equivalent will be handed over, whichever is easier).
Second Place---
1 million influence, to be spent as you see fit. Enhancers, funding costume changes, cheap beer and twinkies, whatever you want to spend it on.
